I am a parent at Elburton Primary School and am fortunate to have had eleven years of experience within the school which spans my three children. My eldest started at the school in 2011, my middle son has just started secondary school and my youngest is in year 2. I have spent much time in and around the school, volunteering as a year 1 classroom assistant, being part of the reading army and helping at various PTA events. As well as being a mum of three and a parent Governor for the school, I am also a Commercial Manager for The Met Office. Since graduating from university, I have worked in various fields, from sales and marketing, to the fitness industry, to procurement and production, focussing mainly on account management and relationship building roles. I am passionate about the importance of excellent education and how investment in every child is such a worthy cause. As a governor I endeavour to help the school ensure all children fulfil their potential, whilst all the time focussing on maximising their enjoyment, achievement and wellbeing. |
