Mental Health Charter Mark
We are delighted to announce that we have been accredited with the Mental Health Charter Mark. We recognise that the emotional well-being of our children is just as important as their physical health. Good mental health allows children and young people to develop the resilience to cope with challenges in adult life. The school has this year developed additional capacity to support children and families, this has included Mrs Causon working as an Emotional Support Teaching Assistant and the new recruitment of Mrs Clarke as our Pastoral Support Lead. Alongside Mrs Birnie and the teaching team, this additional pastoral capacity is enabling children to receive support at the point of need. Should you or your child require additional support, please do not hesitate to contact the school.
Healthy Child Quality Mark
The Healthy Child Quality Mark programme is a school development service, delivered through officer support, challenge and best practice sharing. The HCQM is now the established Health, Wellbeing and Citizenship development tool in Plymouth’s Education settings. School provision, policy and achievement is scrutinised rigorously, using the HCQM Criteria. I am pleased to inform you that we have recently been accredited with the HCQM.
